Funding.
CIF has taken no money from anyone. Current as of July 2026.
Current funding.
CIF has taken no grants, no donations, and no institutional funding to date.
No company sponsors CIF, any of the institutions it holds, or any programme.
CIF does not sell research, advisory, or strategy services to anyone.
Costs are carried by CIF's director. Book sales through Mantic Publishing return to the press.
The director is employed by New Sapience, an AI company, and that salary is what makes the self-funding possible. New Sapience does not fund CIF, has no relationship with it, and has no say in what CIF publishes.
Terms of any future funding.
No funding with editorial conditions.
CIF does not accept money that comes with any say over what gets published, when, or how it is framed. A funder who wants review rights is not a funder CIF can take.
No research on the organizations that fund us.
If CIF takes money from an institution, CIF does not publish research assessing that institution. The two are kept apart structurally, not by good intentions.
Disclosure before publication, not after.
Any funder of a piece of work is named on that work when it publishes. Not in a report at year end.
What the Center will disclose.
- The name of every funder, and the amount.
- Which programme or publication the money supported.
- Any relationship between a funder and a subject CIF has written about.
- Anything CIF declined, and why, where the declining party consents to being named.
