The Center is not currently hiring for defined roles. Proposals for roles that do not yet exist are welcome. They should make their own case.
Help shape the work.
CIF is a Toronto strategy innovation lab exploring the forces reshaping human life and developing ideas for what comes next. Its work brings together research, publishing, long-form conversations, convenings, and briefings for people and organizations making decisions about the future.
A proposal should identify a question worth investigating, a project worth developing, or an existing part of the Center’s work that someone can advance. It should explain the contribution and show what they can produce.
Conviction over credentials
People who have taken positions in public and defended them, rather than held titles.
Builders
A preference for people who produce work over people who administer it.
Comfort with ambiguity
The Center's programs are being defined as they are built. That is the work, not a stage of it.
